This painting depicts Lord Vishnu’s eternal principle of preservation.
On the left, the Matsya Avatar the fish with copper-gold scales and eyes of awareness holds a lotus of purity.
On the right rises Sheshnaag, the five-headed serpent of Lord Vishnu, with watchful eyes on each hood.
Between them, in the curve of protection, lies the world: villages, homes, trees, and life.
A turtle with a chakra forms the base, and the entire scene rests on a pink field of compassion.
Protector III is Vishnu as protector.
Matsya sees the world. Sheshnaag shelters it. The boat carries dharma.
It is not about war. It is about holding holding life, holding stories, holding faith.
